Doll Paintings

During the long Covid Quarantine I needed to express some of the isolation, sadness and helplessness we were all feeling. The doll paintings became a vehicle for this, especially some of the worn, broken and discarded dolls I found on my neighborhood walks. The resulting images are an intuitive expression of my inner state. The aim is to evoke the viewer's empathic identification.
